Our online Standard 11 Surface Refresher builds on your existing knowledge, keeping you up to date with the latest mine safety protocols, risk management practices, hazard identification, emergency response, and site safety procedures. Designed for Queensland surface mining operations, this refresher is a mandatory requirement for employers in Queensland and a smart way to make sure you and your team remain compliant and ready for site.

Assessment & Outcome
- Your result is based on two parts:
- One online theory quiz with 83 multiple-choice questions covering all six Standard 11 surface units of competency.
- A validated Third-Party Verification Report confirming your workplace competence and industry currency.
- All evidence must be valid, sufficient, authentic, and current.
- If your evidence is complete and satisfactory, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the Standard 11 Surface and Underground.
Please aim to submit your quiz and completed verification report before Thursday each week to allow timely feedback and validation.

Delivery & Duration
Our easy-to-use online platform allows you to work through the course at your own pace. You can complete the course in just a few hours, or a few days. However, the course must be completed within 90 days.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible to enrol in this online refresher you must:
- Hold a current (less than 5 years old) Statement of Attainment (issued by an RTO) listing all 6 Standard 11 competencies.
- Provide valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport).
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection and a desktop, laptop or tablet.
